In 2027, we are exploring a small number of high-impact events designed to connect destination leaders, stakeholders, innovators, policy makers, and sustainability leaders with the ideas and proven models needed to accelerate real-world change.
Before we finalize our 2027 event plans, we need your input.

Destinations do not need another conference. They need faster alignment.
These are gatherings designed to expose the right people to what is working and help them act on it.
DMOs are increasingly expected to lead on issues they cannot solve alone: climate adaptation, resident sentiment, mobility, housing, economic resilience, stewardship, visitor behaviour, and long-term community value.
The opportunity is that DMOs are already connected to many of the people who need to be part of the solution; municipalities, economic development teams, airports, ports, attractions, major businesses, NGOs, community leaders, and policy makers.
The events we are proposing are designed to help members bring those people closer to the work. Not just more inspiration or tourism talking only to tourism.

A larger, more visible gathering for destination leaders and their stakeholder ecosystems. The goal is to elevate the work of Collective member DMOs and create a public platform for the future of places: policy, innovation, stewardship, climate, community value, mobility, funding, and destination leadership.
Best for members who want to bring their team, board, elected officials, partners, or key stakeholders into a bigger conversation.

We are offering up to three intimate member-first learning experiences in places with powerful lessons to share. These are designed for deeper peer connection, first-hand learning, and practical takeaways from destinations already working through relevant challenges. We will produce events that receive 10 or more registrations.
